JOBSITE APPROACH
During this pandemic, Lineage Construction is committed to the safety of our clients, workers, employees, subcontractors and the general public. Lineage has rigorously developed a COVID-19 specific health and safety plan that follows OSHA and New York State’s regulations. As the pandemic develops we will continue to modify and enhance our plans in line with regulations and best practices.
Lineage has provided all employees with a “2 Hour Back to Work Remote COVID 19 Construction Safety Class” from Site Safety, LLC. Below are highlights of some of our guidelines and procedures in place.
Ensure adherence and protection of all workers from common sources of infection.
Mandatory proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye and face protection, and respiratory protection.
On-site handwashing stations are required, as is ongoing handwashing.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizer is readily available to all staff and workers.
Ongoing maintenance and sanitization of changing areas.
Limit numbers of workers in confined areas including, but not limited to, hoists, entrances, elevators, vehicles, and exits when scanning in and out of job sites.
Limit the sharing of tools and equipment absent sanitizing.
Sanitize all common areas in accordance with the highest industry standards for infectious disease.
Educate workers with CDC guidance for infection control and self-monitoring of symptoms.
Restrict visitors, other than union representatives and others present, to protect workers and the public (i.e. DOH, DOL, DOB, ect.).
Ongoing job hazard analysis to help determine whether work activities require close contact (within 6 feet) between workers and customers, visitors, or other members of the public.
When necessary, ongoing availability of multiple masks to each worker per shift.
Ongoing coordination of site deliveries to eliminate congestion and implementing delivery controls.
Limit non-essential in-person gatherings as much as possible. If essential, meetings must be in open, well-ventilated spaces.

Ongoing monitoring of positive COVID-19 tests and appropriate quarantine adherence of job site employees and subcontractors.
Ongoing monitoring for known potential exposure from international or domestic hotspots.
